A Freehold holy relic:
The White Shield of Frith

Welcome!

The Heathen Freehold Society is celebrating its 7th year of operation.

Based in British Columbia, Canada, we are dedicated to the celebration and revival of the aboriginal culture and religion of the Germanic, Teutonic and Nordic tribes.

Freehold's First Book

This wonderful story-book includes retellings of favourite myths and original tales written by Heathen parents that will appeal to children of a variety of ages, from very youngest on up.

Find out why the moon changes phases, and the story of Sleipnir, Odin's famous eight-legged steed. Discover why rabbits are so closely associated with Ostara (the goddess Easter), and why the Easter Bunny hides eggs. Read the story of how Santa Klaus started his work, and how a goatherd protected his flock from a grasping shepherd.

All these stories and more are tucked away in this lovely book! All proceeds go to support the non-profit Heathen Freehold of BC.
