The Fulltrúi Awards

Honouring Great Deeds in Heathendom

The Freehold Fulltrúi Awards are honours given by the Heathen Freehold of B.C., Canada, to nominees worldwide in reward for outstanding or extraordinary deeds.

The first round of award winners have been elected by Freehold members. See the Hall of Fame for all the details.

The Fulltrúi Awards will be rewarded roughly every three years, on every year there is a thirteenth lunar month, in the month of Litha (over Midsummer). The honourees will be announced at the Freehold Althing in the years 2009, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2020, 2023, 2025 and so on (see the 19 year Lunar Calendar).

There are pioneers among us who give of themselves to Heathenry greater gifts than we could ask, let us give them the honour they rightly deserve while they yet live!

Award recipients will receive various honours, including:

  • a permanent inscription upon the first Memory-Stone to be placed on a Freehold land-holding in BC,
  • a permanent memorial citation on the Freehold web-site, in the Fulltrúi Hall of Fame,
  • an engraved plaque commemorating the award, or other lasting momento, depending on the award,
  • a feature interview in The Freeholder news magazine,
  • a year's subscription to the The Freeholder.
