Leif NjordssonHas been nominated for... The Fulltrúi Honour:
The first and thus far the only Heathen to achieve government recognition as a Minister of Religion (1998) This is a tortuous and difficult process in Australia. Leif has been working at promoting heathenry in his home city of Adelaide for many years. He often travels to any part of this country to meet or work with Heathens. Leif has built the Woodhenge Spiritual Centre in the Adelaide hills, he first dedicated Heathen place of worship in Australia. He works tirelessly on the net to promote our folkways both here in Australia and internationally. Leif is well known and well regarded in the Australian Heathen community. He is considered to be wise and a true Gothi by all the various heathen groups in this country. Daniel O'HalloranHas been nominated for... The Ring-Giving Honour:
Even outside his hall his generosity knows no bounds. Finally, his open-handedness is not bounded up in a single incident, instead he has demonstrated his noble nature through years of such behaviour. Noil SkeggoldHas been nominated for... The Fulltrúi Honour:
Countless acts of generosity toward fellow heathens, including huge donations in money, goods, and time to the Frige Fund, facilitating the resettlement of Katrina refugees who went to North Carolina and doing a large part of the coordination; numerous gifts of computers, books, and other aid to those in need; assisting Asatru prisoners, including rewriting the relevant section of the guide for prison chaplains in North Carolina and personally sending materials. He has given much guidance and other assistance to local fellow heathens and to newcomers to heathenry. Author of a book on heathen rituals, has two further books due to be completed this year; has contributed several informative and knowledgeable essays to A Heathen Thing's magazine, Fire and Ice , and edited it when others could not. Over the past half decade or more has provided several of the best websites for lore texts online and other research resources, in addition to recently acting as webmaster for A Heathen Thing. Ragnar WhitcombHas been nominated for... The Fulltrúi Honour:
Ragnar dedicated his life to furthering Asatru. He always walked the walk, as well as talking the talk. He traveled all over the U.S. and made contacts, and brought Heathens in contact with other Heathens all over the country. He always exhibited hospitality and perseverance especially, and the other virtues, and the Code of Nine. He never hid his faith in public, and always presented an excellent face of Asatru to other Heathens and to the outside world of non-Heathens. Up to the time he was injured while working, fell into a coma and subsequently passed over the Bridge, he was the most honorable and hospitable Heathen it was ever my honor to know. If ever there were a modern Asatru hero... Ragnar Whitcomb is that person. He exhibited a true lifetime achievement of bringing Folk together. Eric WodeningHas been nominated for... The Tyrfast Honour:
Swain WodeningHas been nominated for... The Tyrfast Honour:
Tee Canote WodeningHas been nominated for... The Fulltrúi Honour:
Were this not enough, last fall with the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, she sprung into action, quickly organizing the Frige Fund to help those hurt by these disasters. Until then the Frige Fund had helped only parents of newborns and one family that had been burned out. But by Yule of 2005, it had touched the lives of 35 families with some form of aid. In addition, after her husband Swain's car accident and illness, she took on the leadership of the Miercinga Rice, becoming the first leader to lead a Theodish organization. She has shown herself as capable a leader as any of the males. The Tyrfast Honour:
Despite how polarizing heathen politics can be at time, she worked across those boundaries, and got heathens contributing, time, money, and items from coast to coast. I can personally attest for her house being over-run during the peak. Every spare bit of space had boxes stacked near to the ceiling, and you wondered if you'd sneezed if you'd be buried alive. The woman is already making preparations for this upcoming year as well. The Ring-Giving Honour:
